Thorlabs' AR-Coated Multimode patch cables feature AR-Coated SMA connectors. The AR coating leads to better fiber-to-free space performance than is possible with uncoated cables. Optimized for spectroscopy and collimation / coupling, these cables can also be used for fiber-to-fiber connections with the purchase of a mating sleeve (ADASMA). For increased durability, these cables incorporate stainless steel protective tubing (FT051SS).
