・Measure Pulse Widths Between 25 and 1000 fs
・Minimal Alignment Necessary
・Easily Modifiable to Extend Wavelength Range
Thorlabs' Pulse Characterization FROG Scanning Module (PCFSM) system provides the user with a proven application setup to
perform ultrafast pulse characterization based on the well-known technique of frequency-resolved optical gating (FROG).
This pulse characterization system measures standard pulse parameters such as pulse width as well as reconstructing
the temporal pulse profile, providing information
This module for pulse measurement and characterization was developed in collaboration with Professor Biegert at the Institute of
Photonic Sciences (ICFO) in Spain. The modular setup gives users full access to all components so that the PCFSM system can
easily be adapted and optimized for other wavelength ranges or pulse widths. With relatively minor changes, the PCFSM can be
reconfigured from a FROG device to an autocorrelator or single-shot autocorrelator.
The PCFSM system includes example software developed by our collaborators at ICFO to run a complete FROG measurement
and analysis. In addition, drivers for the spectrometer (CCS200) and translation stage (MT1 stage with TDC001 controller) allows
users to create their own software. For questions and support related to the software, please contact Technical Support.
Our pulse measurement and characterization modules are an expanding line. New products such as preselected conversion kits
for single shot autocorrelators are currently being developed and will become available in the coming months.
