Wavelength Division Multiplexers (WDMs) are used to combine or separate two different single mode signals. Available in versions capable of combining or separating nine different wavelength combinations (660/1310 nm, 980/1030 nm, 980/1053 nm, 980/1060 nm, 980/1550 nm, 1310/1550 nm, 1480/1550 nm, 1550/1625 nm, or 1600/1960 nm), these multiplexers are an ideal solution for combining pump and signal powers or for combining or separating telecom signals.
Based on the proven Fused Biconic Taper (FBT) technology, these multiplexers provide broad operating wavelengths and low insertion loss. The charts below detail the intended applications for our WDM couplers to aid in the selection of an appropriate WDM. All of our WDM couplers are available with FC/PC and FC/APC connector styles.
