Low Power Optical Fiber Amplifiers

PriTel’s FA Series of Low Power Optical Fiber Amplifiers are designed for R&D applications in CATV, telecommunications, fiber lasers, and optical switching. Based on well-established 980-nm diode-laser Erbium-doped optical fiber technology, the FA Series of Amplifiers offers very low noise, wide bandwidth, low dispersion, and high saturation power without ASE problems. The total fiber length is shortened to enable amplification of picosecond pulses by employing a special Er-doped fiber (see PriTel's Sub Picosecond Optical Fiber Amplifiers).
