Nuphoton’s 1.5 micron family externally modulated erbium doped fiber laser, is a pulsed laser source specially designed for LIDAR/LADAR applications. This unit can provide high peak power light pulses in the eye-safe wavelengths around 1550 nm. This unit is available in different packaging options and has dedicated electronic and optical circuitry for pulse generation, amplification and noise management. All the operating parameters can be controlled and monitored through this RS232 serial port and comes with user-friendly software.
