1550nm, CW, Narrow linewidth fiber laser, 0.2/0.5/2/5W

The 1.5 micron family narrow linewidth fiber laser is a continuous wave (CW) laser source in a reliable master-oscillator power-amplifier (MOPA) configuration with output power up to 5W. A particularly important field of application is the area of coherent laser communication and coherent LIDAR/LADAR. Other applications include sensors, e.g. fiber-optic sensors for strain and/or temperature, various types interferometric sensing, trace gas detection with differential absorption LIDAR (DIAL), or wind speed measurements with Doppler LIDAR. This product is available in different package options and has dedicated electronics and optics circuitry for pulse generation, amplification, and noise management. The unit comes with an RS-232 serial communication interface for control and monitoring.
