The Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifier series L-band DWDM EDFA is designed for single wavelength and DWDM applications in the L-band. The L-band EDFA is a stand-alone gain block module that requires +5VDC bias and can be ordered with or without an integral heat sink. The dedicated digital and analog circuitry precisely controls the pump temperature and pump current using its monitoring and alarm functions. All the operating parameters of this product can be controlled through the RS232 serial port. The unit comes with user-friendly software with ACC, APC, AGC and AOPC modes of operation.
