MPBC’s Visible Raman Fiber Amplifier System is capable of amplifying a narrow, polarized, near-IR input signal without spectrum broadening and converting it to the visible region. Visible output powers of several watts at wavelengths between 560 nm and 650 nm are achievable, with custom wavelengths available based on demand. The VRFA System consists of three modules: •Raman Fiber Amplifier: Based on single-mode polarization-maintaining fiber, the RFA accepts the seed signal, amplifies it without spectrum broadening, and outputs it to the Second Harmonic Generator •Ytterbium Fiber Laser: Pumps the Raman Fiber Amplifier with high-intensity linearly polarized emission needed for the amplification •Second Harmonic Generator: Doubles the output wavelength to the visible spectrum
