- Ideal for use with our Fiber Collimation Packages to Minimize Fresnel Losses
- One AR-Coated FC/PC Connector Improves Return Loss
- One FC/APC Uncoated Connector
- Ravg < 0.5% for 1300 ± 100 nm
- Fiber: SMF-28e+
This AR-coated patch cable has a center wavelength of 1300 nm. The AR-coated, narrow key FC/PC connector (black boot) at the output side provides a reflectivity of <0.5% over the 1300 ± 100 nm range. The input side of the patch cable is supplied with a narrow key FC/APC connector (non-AR-coated). It is well-suited for use with our selection of fiber collimators. This cable features a Ø3 mm Kevlar reinforced furcation tubing.
Note that the AR-coated end is meant for free-space applications (e.g., collimation) and will be damaged if it comes into contact with another connector tip. Mating two AR-coated connectors can increase back reflections causing a greater loss of transmission than when just using two uncoated connectors.
