The CEFL-KILO series Erbium doped fiber lasers provide single frequency with low phase noise and low relative intensity noise. They are available in a compact module suitable for integration into LIDAR systems and in a benchtop for a laboratory environment. Key applications for these sources include remote sensing for wind, acoustic or seismic measurements (Spark lasers). They also find important use in atomic spectroscopy and atomic cooling (Kilas-Cool lasers). The system integrates an ultra low noise, narrow linewidth seed laser which is then amplified through erbium doped fibers up to 10W of CW output power. The laser can be thermally tuned in wavelength and its central emission line frequency can be modulated for locking purposes. The laser is available in a rack for laboratory use or a module for easy integration.
