The PowerSpectrum™-PSRs are pulse stretchers intended for ultrafast fiber lasers. These chirped fiber Bragg gratings are compact, low-loss components with minimal group delay ripples.
TeraXion’s chirped Fiber Bragg Grating (CFBG) pulse stretcher is a compact, low-loss, fiber-based component capable of stretching ultrafast optical pulses prior to amplification with minimal group delay ripples. In addition to basic pulse stretching, TeraXion’s pulse stretcher can compensate for higher order dispersion from other CPA components as well as provide spectral shaping with minimal spectral ripples.
For low-energy pulses, a similar CFBG can be used as a pulse compressor to replace the bulky traditional diffraction grating pair for a fiber-based solution.
Lower dispersion CFBGs for inta-cavity dispersion management in mode locked fiber lasers are also available.
