The CNT-1550-TK compact femtosecond fiber laser is a mode-locked oscillator using fiber taper embedded in carbon nanotube saturable absorber (FTCNT SA). Femtosecond pulses are delivered at a flip of a switch. This is the first mode-locked laser powered by battery in the market.
Established telecom components are used to make the laser highly stable and low cost. Typical pulse duration is <1 ps. The laser also comes with polarization control option.
